Weather was set fair but unfortunatley my legs weren't so I settled on an 11 miler around the hilly Waseley and Clent Hills. It was a pretty route with plenty of scenery on offer. From the top of Walton Hill (Clent Hill's range) I could see as far as the Black Mountain's in South Wales, the Cotswold Hill's and the radar station on top of Clee Hill was easily visible.
Bridleway between Clent and Waseley Hills, Belbroughton Church in the distance.
Clee Hill on the horizon, dunno if the radar station comes out on the photo.
Black Mountains and The Cotswolds in the distance.

Here is my latest offering for the Bike Radar website.
As for the June challenge, I'm currently in 14th place with my leisure miles on 82 miles, but I'm in 3rd place with my overall miles on 318. Considering who is in first and second place, that of Redbikes and John Berry then I'm pretty happy with that. Both of those blokes are what I call proper cyclists and not current fat cyclists or in remission foodoholics. Bonus!
Clive, good go'n.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful countryside there.
Who are you calling a proper cyclist?....you are the proper one, I only do leisure miles!
