Well at last 18 stone is behind me, I lost 3 Ibs to make 17 stones 12 Ibs. I just need to get rid of 8 Ibs to make 5 stone for the year.
I went on a standard Waseley/Lickey/Hopwood/Cofton Hacket loop this morning to make a small indentation in Phill's 100 challenge.
It was pretty hard work as there was a very stiff wind and the route is very hilly.
Route here so you don't think I'm cheating!

My pedal home yesterday wasn't great, I was carrying my daysack as I had to get quite a lot of kit home from work so it was probably at its heaviest, consequently my back was in bits when I got home, I nearly stopped a couple of times due to the pain.
It recovered quickly enough after a bit of rest though, so that was ok.

As you can see it was a slow pedal due to my back pain.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the weight loss Clive, well done! I've just hit my own milestone too, dropping below 230 lbs for the first time!!
ReplyDeleteThe little ticker is very cool too.
I couldn't resist, I had to add the ticker on mine too! I'll acknowledge your inspiration when I get home tonight and load the day's riding stats. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteI nicked it from Christie so I can't take the credit!
Well done on the drop too...
Ta too LTMWB!
Looks like a nice place to cycle - I like the look of the country park.
ReplyDeleteI have a complaint btw, under the trade descriptions act - you're not a massive mountain biker any more! ;-) Seriously, congrats on the 3lb loss which is well deserved (I reckon you were standing on the scales funny last week). I'm looking forward to raising a glass to you on June 30th!
Congratulations and keep up the good work!
