Yesterday's pedal home went really well, despite it being a bit damp. The afternoon was spent working at home then the usual trip to the Dodford last night.

Tomorrow is Rafe and Matty's day to kill the Oxfordshire Classic, no doubt it will be an enjoyable event which will see a successful completion of the course, good luck fellers!
Finally check the video below, this happened on my way home yesterday, I'm posting it without a comment other than "why?"
They do it because they can. Lawless society you see. They know that there is a 0% chance for them to get into trouble for doing that.
ReplyDeleteGrass them up to the police - teach them a lesson.
Write a letter to the local paper and mention it and how its a sad state of affairs that people do this when, quite frankly, their car looked like a rubbish bin in the first place.
Joby is rite u shud grass them to the old Bill
ReplyDeletethey r jus f*****g c****s sorry bout the language but that is wot I think of them mate
Hefty fine for littering. I think I saw the rozzers nabbing some dirty pricks doing the same thing on one of those Sky TV police shows not long ago. Added to that they probably did it deliberately right in front of you cycling.
ReplyDeleteI agree, grass them. I was out 2 weekends ago and a pickup truck passenger lobbed a bottle out of the window towards me on the other side of a fast, quiet road. It was blatant and really annoying. A fellow cyclist, following them, shouted "What the f*ck, did they do that on purpose?" and hightailed after them but didn't catch them. I chatted with him about it when I bumped into him at the lake later, but we couldn't make head nor tail of it.
ReplyDeleteThese people are just idiots, and need on-the-spot fines I think. Proving their misdeeds is the worst part of the whole process of crime prevention - so just slap a ticket on, "£100 today mate or £200 tomorrow, your choice. Now stop being a tw*t". A couple of those and they might even put their crap in their own bins at home. Or throw it at their own wife and kids.
I'm so impressed with your motivation and consistency. It's so awesome to see documented in your posts. Wish I could see it all happening first hand, but the posts are a pretty good alternative.
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to connect with you.
