Docs, as I predicted.
Went to the Docs, he says as predicted rest it and take pain killers. Which means it's entirely down to me but I will go and speak to the club physio about this. Other than that, crack on. Nothing else to report.
I am Toby, as I know I could pedal. Just don't know what if any damage I would do long term. Emma will know and advise, she's a physio to professional rugby players so she knows all about getting athletes back quickly. Obviously I'm not an athlete but you get my point...
A fat broken bloke who at 45 years young was inspired to get back on his push bike to get fit (and thinner). A 22 stone 4 pounds starting point in July 2009 and at just 5' 8" it was getting beyond a joke. Follow my trials and tribulations here!
Sometimes Doctors DO know best.
ReplyDeleteClive Joby is spot on mate
ReplyDeleteI know u can get through this mate especialy wiv ure determination a couple of weeks rest is better than a couple of months
Docs are ok in their own way, physios are the experts though, I'll see what the fair Emma has to say on Thursday and do what she says.
ReplyDeleteI reckon the physio might tell you to take it easy for a bit longer. Bet you're itching to get back on the bike?
