What a way to spend Bank Holiday Monday...

Waiting for the Virgin TV repair man...again...

You know the deal, he'll be here between 0800hrs and 1200hrs. What a great service, and this is after waiting 4 days! Not happy. I am seriously thinking about giving my money to Rupert again instead of Richard.

Like I said, this is the 4th cable box to go Pete Tong in as many months and the picture quality is bizarrly worse on cable than via a satellite dish, how does that work then?

  1. We only have the choice of Sky here. We can't even get freeview.

  2. I think cable ultimately comes in via a satelite dish anyway doesnt it? Then its piped via a cable to the houses. Thats what I thought anyway, plus the old Virgin offices near us had more huge satelite dishes in their grounds than Darth Vaders private multimedia equipped toilet.

If it helps any our Sky is more on the blink than off it. This week we have only been able to watch the terestial channels and Sky want to charge us a babys arm to come out without even the promise it can be fixed for the price. I could buy a whole new setup in B&Q for the same price.

Whatever you want... Whatever you like... Whatever you say.. They take your money, you make your choice...

Whatever you need... Whatever you view.... They treat you like shit... Thats what they do.

  5. Haha, sounds like all cable companies, regardless of what side of the Atlantic they are on are the same.
