Beautiful day!

Family stuff this morning, serious bike maintenance this afternoon. June is going to be a big month. I've got 2 targets, one thanks to Phill (the bastard) who has forced me to say I'll do a 100 off road miles in June, on top of my roughly 100 miles per week commuting distance and I'm really going to hit the weight thing, my next target is to lose a stone in June. It may be doable but that one will be the harder target than the 100 off road miles. But the off road target will help the weight one.

The main reason for the weight thing is that as of June the 30th it will be exactly a year since I started this thing and I'd love to have lost 5 stone in a year.

Can I do it? Watch this space, it certainly won't be for the want of trying and I'll need you folks to get on my case about it!

  1. wow 100 off road miles = 150 - 200 on road miles Im told. Best of luck mate; thatll kill you if anything will lol. However if you get the right kind of off road its way more enjoyable than on road I reckon as scenery can be better and mroe chance to enjoy it without going under a bus.

  3. 1st in a month is a tough one for sure but you will have fun trying the 100 miles offroad, I am probably doing 140 miles off road per month but then I don't ride to work.

You lead Clive we will follow..............

  4. You are so focused currently, I'd say it's doable, just don't let targets takeover your enjoyment of pedalling, good luck.
