Real Hills, gas hills and I've seen the back of 18 stones!

Well at last 18 stone is behind me, I lost 3 Ibs to make 17 stones 12 Ibs. I just need to get rid of 8 Ibs to make 5 stone for the year.

I went on a standard Waseley/Lickey/Hopwood/Cofton Hacket loop this morning to make a small indentation in Phill's 100 challenge.

It was pretty hard work as there was a very stiff wind and the route is very hilly.

Route here so you don't think I'm cheating!

My pedal home yesterday wasn't great, I was carrying my daysack as I had to get quite a lot of kit home from work so it was probably at its heaviest, consequently my back was in bits when I got home, I nearly stopped a couple of times due to the pain.

It recovered quickly enough after a bit of rest though, so that was ok.

As you can see it was a slow pedal due to my back pain.

  5. Looks like a nice place to cycle - I like the look of the country park.

I have a complaint btw, under the trade descriptions act - you're not a massive mountain biker any more! ;-) Seriously, congrats on the 3lb loss which is well deserved (I reckon you were standing on the scales funny last week). I'm looking forward to raising a glass to you on June 30th!
